"This legislation requires that in-service training for all teachers and principals include at least two hours of suicide prevention education for each school year. Clark Flatt of the Jason Foundation stated, "This will be the most comprehensive training bill for educators in the nation," and hopes other states will follow suit with similar bills. "It will change the face of youth suicide prevention in Tennessee.”
