About JFI / Affiliates

There is a biblical story that extols the importance of the body parts (hands, feet, arms) to the body. It makes the point that these “parts” create the means for the “body” to do its work and those both are important and relies upon each other for the accomplishment of the mission.

There is no better example to demonstrate the importance of JFI’s National Affiliates to the successful accomplishment of our mission.  With the mission of building an awareness and prevention program on youth suicide that will save lives, The Jason Foundation is the “body” of the effort…the heart that supplies the body with energy and also serves as the connector that enables the individual parts to do their jobs in harmony with each other. Our Affiliates are the hands, feet, legs and arms…the parts of the body that enable it to move and accomplish the work necessary for the mission. Without our great Affiliates….The Jason Foundation would have desire and heart, but not the means to deliver our programs and services to the hundreds of thousands of youth each year.  The success of The Jason Foundation is the result of both body and parts working together toward the common goal.
