Suicide Facts

The Centers of Disease Control, National Mental Health Association, American Association of Pediatrics and other organizations work to maintain current data regarding the problem of youth suicide. There are statements of fact regarding the scope and magnitude of the “Silent Epidemic” of youth suicide. The facts listed in this section indicate the serious problem that is affecting too many of our youth.
