C.A.R.L. (Community Assistance Resource Line) Brochure

The C.A.R.L. line is an innovative program in youth suicide prevention. It is a 24-hour/seven-day telephone “Resource Line” for anyone who needs information regarding suicidal ideation in youth. Trained Clinical Specialists answer the C.A.R.L. Line. They are capable of handling crisis calls; however, they primarily operate to provide important information to parents, teachers, and other youth workers that help them to identify and assist youth who are possibly experiencing suicidal ideation. C.A.R.L. is a confidential and free service.
