Your
life is about to begin.
When you sent the pledge to the Jason Foundation, you joined a growing
list of young people like yourself who have made an important decision:
Living.
It didn't cost anything, except a few seconds of your time.
So how does adding your name to a list help? Well, several ways:
First, when you signed up, you were making
a choice. And choice is power. Each positive choice you make is a
statement that you have your life in good hands. Specifically, yours.
And that's a good place to start.
Second, to complete the form, you had to
stop and think, "Who can I count on for help?" before you actually
need it. And that's smart, because we make better decisions when
we plan ahead.
Third, and most important, if you take
your pledge seriously, it keeps you alive. Today, and tomorrow, and
each tomorrow after that, one day at a time. And each time you choose
to live, you begin again. Life can be difficult, but choosing life
is easy...promise...
