The Jason Foundation offers a school curriculum
for grades 7 through 12 about the awareness and
prevention of youth suicide. The unit
of study includes statistical data on the magnitude of the problem,
signs of concern, and information about available resources. The
content approach is “how to help a friend if you suspect
they are thinking about suicide”. This program can be presented
as a stand-alone program or as a part of another health-related
curriculum.
